Sound Design & Audio Post-Production for Film, TV & Streaming

Melgard is a sound design and audio post-production studio in Mazraat el Hdair, Lebanon, led by Tony Elk and working with productions across the GCC, MENA and internationally.

Melgard is a sound design and audio post-production studio in Lebanon, established in 2012 and led by Tony Elk. The studio is based in Mazraat el Hdair, Lebanon, and works with directors, producers and agencies on film, television, documentary and branded content across the GCC, MENA, Europe, North America and Australia — Lebanon is where we record, not the edge of where we work.

Each project is built discipline by discipline: sound design and original sound effects, Foley performed to picture, dialogue editing and restoration, ADR, and final mixing in stereo, 5.1 surround and spatial audio formats. Music production is available for scores, songs and campaign beds.

Remote collaboration is standard rather than an exception. Picture cuts, stems and mixes move through cloud delivery with review sessions scheduled across time zones, so a production shooting in Dubai, Riyadh, Paris or Toronto works with Melgard as easily as one filming in Beirut. Deliverables are prepared for cinema, streaming, broadcast and social formats — DCP compliant masters, loudness compliant streaming files, M&E tracks and printmasters.
